Murray Lerner

A philadelphiai születésű, Harvardon végzett Lerner az ipari filmkészítés területéről érkezett, számos díjnyertes zenei dokumentumfilm alkotója. Köztük említést érdemel az Oscar-díjra jelölt Festival!, amelyet 1963 és 1966 között forgatott a Newporti Folkfesztiválon, és amely az első ellenkulturális zenei fesztiválról szóló, moziforgalmazásban is bemutatott dokumentumfilm volt, megelőzve a Monterey International Pop Festivalt és a Woodstockot.
