The 7th annual Tiburon International Film Festival (www.tiburonfilmfestival.com) announced the winners of its Golden Reel Awards on 21th March 2008 in 17 categories. Czech director
Jan Balej and his feature length animated film „
One Night in One City“ received the Golden Reel Award for Best Animation.
The festival seeks to provide a greater understanding of the world through film. This year 242 films from more than 90 countries were shown.

One Night in One City is the first Czech filmmaker to be awarded the Tiburon international Film Festival prize. It is not the first award for One Night in One City - a couple of weeks ago it won the Czech Lion 2007 for best art. Earlier it also received the Grand Prix in Lisbon, Portugal, and won awards in Třeboň and Bucharest.
In 2007 cinema goers could see it at dozens of film festivals and at the moment it is booked to be shown in Hungary at
Titanic International Film Festival, Turkey, Singapore, Ireland, Hong-Kong and Argentina.
At the moment One Night in One City is being released in the Czech Republic on DVD.
