Behind a door at the end of a hallway, the sound of a gunshot is heard. Is it murder? Suicide? Or was it an accident? Following each of the three protagonists during what seems like an ordinary day in their life, the events leading to this fatal conclusion will be revealed. Like every morning, Nadine, the mother, gets ready to do her job as an officer of the narcotics brigade. Roger, the father, who is suffering a bad depression after an accident, spends most of his time at home in the company of his bottle… Laurent, the son, should go to school, but he prefers to spend the day in the company of his neighbourhood friends…

9 mm was launched internationally at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil where it was competing. Not bad for someone who has never attended film school.
