It is Christmas Eve in Santiago de Chile and Aurora takes her boyfriend, Alejandro, to her late father’s dilapidated house in the country in search of his old record collection. Tensions soon mount between the young couple and as Alejandro decides to leave Aurora – but on his way out he finds an intruder, a vulnerable girl named Alicia, who has run away from home. The three gradually discover a closeness that will soothe their alienation and loneliness, even if only for one night. The film explores the thoughts and desires of a new generation of Chileans born after the dictatorship, who come to realise that the only revolution possible is the revolution inside.
