In her speech Mrs. Györgyi Vastag, the councilor of the Cultural Commission, underlined the missionary zeal of the festival crew and their commitment to arthouse movies that meets the capital’s endeavour. The event, as each year, was opened by György Horváth festival director. After the screening of Wes Anderson’s
Fantastic Mr. Fox, nominated for Oscar this year, the guests had the occasion of clinking their glasses filled with the world famous
Armenian Ararat brandy.
