Terribly Happy is a „Dogme film with a steady cam”, combining noir, western and horror elements. Its story reveals that the peaceful, law-abiding country life hides dark secrets in fact. Its central motif is a swamp that swallows everything: cows, women, bikes, cars; a kind of metaphor of our hero’s Passion. The sinner does not get remission by his punishment instead he keeps piling sins upon sins. The „Danish Fargo” with its morbide, dark humour and grim atmosphere was awarded twice in Karlovy Vary. The film is on Titanic’s Tuesday programme!

Rune Denstad Langlo’s comedy tells the story of a groundsman, Jomar, once a ski champion, which becomes in a blink of an eye an off-road movie with a power-sled, shot in snow and ice. The term „off-road movie” is the creators’ invention: Northern-Norvegian people usually refuse to take the highway, and Jomar’s research expedition to find his child is also off the beaten path. A FIPRESCI-awarded antidepressant with eccentric figures, rough weather but much alcohol. The screening starts at 20.15.
