Set to the alternately roaring and dreamy soundtrack of West Coast indie rock. Rightfully earning comparisons to Harmony Korine’s fictional work, Dragonslayer serves as an adroit anthropological investigation that remains aesthetically and spiritually faithful to the subculture it’s profiling. The film is the Grand Jury Prize winner for Best Documentary Feature at SXSW 2011.
