This year, we have films from 29 countries: 57 feature-length movies (7 of them are docs), 8 music-docs and 6 shorts (to be screened with feature-length films).
The best film of the competition section will be awarded the Breaking Waves Award – just like in previous years. Members of our jury in 2012 are: Stefan Laudyn, director of the Warsaw International Film Festival (Poland), Ágnes Kocsis, director (Hungary) and András Muhi, producer (Hungary).

Raindance teams up with Budapest’s Titanic Film Festival
has formed a partnership with the Titanic Film Festival, Hungary’s foremost international film fest. According to the deal Titanic, running from April 7th to the 17th, will program a selection of Raindance’s famous 99-minute film schools, to be organized by Raindance’s Budapest office, and screen a sidebar showcasing the best films from the last Raindance Film Festival. In turn, Titanic will offer a selection of Hungarian films for next year’s Raindance Film Festival in London, to be held this year from September 28th to October 9th.
